At the 2024 Venice Film Festival, she stole the show—like she always does. On August 29, the 49-year-old actress lit up the scene for the premiere of her new film Maria. In this movie, she plays opera legend Maria Callas.
Jolie wore a beautiful custom strapless beige gown from Tamara Ralph. The fur stole gave it a cozy winter vibe. The dress had romantic drapery, a pleated skirt hem, & was finished with a gold rose brooch.
Her jewelry was simple but caught the eye. She sported a woven gold bracelet, a matching ring, & some lovely gold and diamond earrings. The bold red lips and shiny red nails added flair. Smoky eyes made her look even more striking too! Plus, her sleek blonde hair styled in a side part gave off that effortless chic vibe.
Directed by Pablo Larraín, Maria shines as a standout film at this year’s Venice Film Festival. Back in 2022, before filming started, Angelina shared how meaningful it was to play such an iconic singer. She said, “Pablo Larraín is a director I have long admired. To be allowed the chance to tell more of Maria’s story with him, and with a script by Steven Knight, is a dream.”
