“I got ‘Stay Gold’ with my daughter Viv during our time on The Outsiders,” Jolie shared in a recent interview with CR Fashion Book. Images display the tattoo gracefully located on her inner arm, which she first showcased in April during the Broadway play’s opening night. However, the exact location of Vivienne’s tattoo remains unknown.
The phrase ‘Stay Gold’ carries a touching significance for both of them. Not only is it the name of a song in the musical, but it also reflects the final words of one of the characters, symbolizing the need to maintain innocence and goodness even in difficult times—a sentiment that the mother-daughter pair now cherishes.
Jolie’s revelation about her tattoo has stirred a discussion among the public. Some have expressed concern about Vivienne’s age, stating, “I thought it was illegal for anyone under 21 to get a tattoo.” Another person added, “I would never allow my 16-year-old to get a tattoo just because it matches mine.”
